Knowledge Base - SECURITY TIPS

Using Westork plateform is very simple and we believe that the service we are proposing is a terrific way to help others, meet new people and make them happy. But as in any collaborative platform, some rules have to be respected in order to feel safe and ensure an enjoyable transaction.

You will find here some basic tips to keep in mind when using our platform.

YOU ARE A TRAVELER

  • Be sure that the object requested by the buyer complies with the customs laws of the country you are carrying to
  • Check that the object meets the duty free allowances.
  • Exchange extensively with the buyer to find an agreement regarding the price of the product and your bonus (don't forget that there is a 8% service fee for the platform that added to the total price) & the delivery details.
  • Buy the product only when the buyer confirmed the payment
  • Keep all receipts and proofs of the product you bought and make a copy of it.
  • Organize the delivery (best in a public place), take a picture of you, the buyer and the product (of course that is not necessary but that is best in case of dispute)
  • Use Westork internal messaging system for all your communications with buyer, avoid giving your personal information.

 YOU ARE A BUYER

  • Be sure that the object you ask for complies with the customs laws of your country and is within the duty free allowances
  • Give as much details as possible regarding the object you want (size, color, material, brand, cost, where to buy it)
  • Find an agreement with the traveler regarding the price of the object and the bonus you are willing to pay. Don't forget to add the 8% service fee for the platform.
  • If the traveler lives far away from you, you might consider a Postmail shipping instead of a face to face meeting, if so don't forget the delivery costs to add to the amount of the transaction.
  • Meet the traveler as planned (best in a public place) and get your object.
  • Use Westork internal messaging system for all your communications with the traveler, avoid giving your personal information
